With over 18 years in the hospitality and wine industry in California Kris Penick brings an incredible
amount of knowledge to Reserve Events & Destinations. By establishing Reserve Events & Destinations
she has the opportunity to share her skills and resources with others. Her education in Foods and
Nutrition combined with her training in wines has been an asset in planning many food and wine events
over the years. Her organizational skills and attention to detail combined with uncompromising
professionalism makes her a welcome addition to any team.
For almost two decades she leveraged her sales and marketing skills to increase sales by using events
as a major marketing tool for several Paso Robles wineries and for Ice Capades Chalets. She has
consulted with the Paso Robles Vintners and Growers Association for their annual Wine Festival and
has launched the very successful Paso Robles Wine University. She has proven marketing and public
relation skills in implementing events that make a profit and enhance company image.

With her enthusiasm of wine, food and the beauty of the Central Coast she is compelled to share
those experiences with visitors. She can find out of the way, unusual and intimate experiences in
the Central Coast and puts panache in any event she creates. Many corporations such as Price
Waterhouse Cooper, Duke Power, Merck and Pfizer have benefited from the meetings and special events
their clients have experienced.
Kris also finds time to serve in professional organizations such as Meeting Planners International
(MPI), International Social Events Society (ISES), Association of Destination Management Executives (ADME),
Women for WineSense, and Visitors and Conference Bureaus. She is recognized as a CMP,
Certified Meeting Professional, governed by the Convention Industry Council and endorsed by 31 organizations
within the meetings industry, which comprise the Council.
